Find a Lender & Get Pre-Approved

The First Step in the home purchase process is to get pre-approval for a home loan and begin to work with a lender. You want one that is familiar with the Charleston Real Estate Market and surrounding areas, and also that is familiar with working with Bank Foreclosures and Short Sales as well as homes that need work, new construction, etc.

As with any real estate transaction, the buyer is free to choose the lender of their choice.

However, even if you do have a lender you would prefer we at the Wertan Team recommend that you still talk to one of our lenders and compare Good Faith Estimates or GFE's to make sure you are getting the best deal possible.
